- In a mixing bowl, whisk besan (1 cup), and curd (¼ cup) to form a smooth, lump-free batter. Slowly add water to adjust consistency.
- Add turmeric powder (¼ TSP), red chili powder (1 TSP), red chili flakes (1 TSP), garam masala powder (¼ TSP), cumin powder (½ TSP), carom seeds (1 TSP), sesame seeds (2 TSP), and salt.
- Mix in the finely chopped onion, tomato, carrot, green chilli, and fresh coriander leaves. Let the batter rest for a few minutes.
- In another bowl, combine crumbled/grated paneer (50 g), finely chopped capsicum & onion, black pepper powder (½ TSP), amchur powder/chat masala powder (1 TSP), and salt.
- If you prefer a cheesy bite, mix in grated cheese (3 cubes).
- Heat a tawa (griddle) or pan and spread some butter or oil on it.
- Dip a bread slice into the besan batter, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
